Congrats to Bill Demas and his New Job at Moka5

It was nice to see the announcement of Bill Demas as the new CEO of Moka5.  Bill was a big driver of Overture's / Yahoo!'s success and it looks like he as found a real interesting opportunity to lead.  Bill likes to think big...and it is hard to argue with a vision bigger than Moka5:

"Moka5 is about freedom computing," says Vinod Khosla, founder and partner of Khosla Ventures. "Moka5 and its partners will offer solutions and services that offer freedom from hardware, freedom from spyware, and freedom to carry your computing environment as you wish."

I did have to chuckle when I read Matt's write-up at VentureBeat where he states: "Demas clearly tried to underplay the ability of the company to deliver on that vision right away".  We had many team meetings at Yahoo! where Bill stressed the value of clearly setting expectations (and under promise / over deliver).  Some of us are still trying to learn that skill :)
