I swung by the Apple store (in Pasadena) today to see some of the iPhone mania first hand. At the time there was only one person in line (pictured here).
I started to ask her the standard questions: why are you so interested in buying an iPhone? Do you plan on keeping it, or reselling for a profit, etc.. She just looked at me, smiled and said: "I am not buying a phone. I am just holding a spot for my son. He gets out of summer school in a couple of hours".
Now that is one dedicated mom!
